Meet YTherapy
Your Mental Health Accountability Partner
Our Mission
There’s this notion that in order to help others, you need to give yourself selflessly and make personal sacrifices. When going the extra mile becomes a cost to your mental health and wellbeing, we think it’s only right to draw a line and redress the balance because no one should have to suffer.
We believe there’s a ‘give’ and ‘take’ to helping and that it’s not selfish to sometimes put yourself first. With so much to offer to your family, friends, colleagues and clients – you also deserve the same quality of care and support when you need it most.
That’s why we’re here to help helpers, like you, take better care of your mental health so you can continue to be there for the world.
Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.

Our Story
The “Y” in YTherapy stands for “Why”.
When we question “why therapy?” we also question “why mental health?”
Be it curiosity or crisis, sometimes we need to have important conversations about our mental health if we want to be healthy and happy.
Like a small branch of a tree, the “Y” also represents new growth. As therapists, we know that when you get to the bottom of what troubles you most and nurture yourself from the roots up – you can heal, grow and flourish.
We believe that anyone who has the courage to look at their vulnerabilities can change the world.
Our Founding
In response to the wider community’s need for mental health support, YTherapy was founded in 2017 by Jamie Kelly.
Since opening our doors in Central London as a private therapy practice, we discovered that many of our clients who have already experienced NHS, EAP or Private Health Insurance counselling services needed something more robust and wanted to have a say in how they were being supported.
Today, we work with individuals and organisations across the UK and globally. We support our clients through personalised mental health and wellness services. We offer therapy, consulting and psychoeducational training.
Mental health should be a priority for everyone. No one should have to wait for a crisis before seeking support.
